Patriot Pour Celebrates One Year Anniversary! A BIG Thank you goes to Dave Miller with LYFE Public House for being an amazing host and sponsor! So many people to thank, Seth Horst and his team The North Idaho Experience, Dale Gibboney, Tim Greeley, Rory Cheeney, Charles Sorensson, and many many more who, behind the scenes, helped bring this program to life. Thank you!
A BIG thank you goes to the veterans and first responders who attend weekly to provide great stories and friendship. We’ve shared laughs, community building ideas, and inspiration for others to gain strength from.
The Veterans Club is officially a 501(c)(3) Pending organization. Paperwork was filed this past weekend.
The board met on Monday to discuss progress on the Narrated By The Veterans Club audiobooks for the blind program. As of today, we have 10 episodes published that have been downloaded 112 times. Great start for just three weeks old. A big thank you to our sponsors F1 for Help and Zenith Exhibits. We are looking for more sponsors to support the effort. New narrators are coming on board and a flood of content is coming soon. Our goal is to publish 12 episodes a month, at least 144 short stories per year…
The Veterans Club has a second podcast where we interview veterans and first responders from around the country. They share stories of service and community leadership to serve as an introduction to The Veterans Club.
Both Narrated By The Veterans Club and The Veterans Club Podcast can be found everywhere podcasts are available (Apple Podcast, Spotify, Amazon Music, iHeart Radio, etc.)
The board discussed turning member causes into Action. Do you have a hobby or a passion you would like to expand for access by more veterans and first responders? Examples include the new GMRS Radio Class that just took place, tours of local facilities, Narrated By. The Veterans Club is a non-profit organization created to bring your ideas to more veterans. See any of the board of directors for more information.
Would you like to serve on the board? We meet once a month to plan programs to help end veterans and first responder suicide. We meet the first Monday of each month at 1300 here at LYFE Public House.
Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again—my Savior and Lord
Would You Like To Make An Announcement?
The board decided to start using the video to help with announcements. You can always visit this page, which will be kept updated weekly. If you'd like to make a "short" announcement, please visit theveteransclub.org/make-an-announcement, or talk with Dale before or after a meeting.
