Announcements – November 5, 2024
December 4th is the Patriot Pour’s One Year Anniversary Celebration. Invite all for free food, drink, and (hopefully) a special guest.
The Veterans Club approved bylaws, which can be located on the website. We will be recruiting additional board members.
The organization is submitting paperwork to the IRS for 501(c)(3) status. The cost of this submission is $600. To help defray the costs of running the organization, we are adding a contribution bucket to meetings. Please consider giving to help support the mission of The Veterans Club.
The board approved production of a new audiobooks for the blind program called Narrated By. Check out the website for more information and stay tuned for stories read by Veterans, Kids, Seniors, and individuals with developmental disabilities. We are looking for sponsors for books. Please see Ed for more information.
The board meets 1300 on the first Monday of each month at Lyfe Public House. All are welcome to attend. The Veterans Club is working to end veteran and first responder suicide.
The Veterans Club hosts our own podcast where interviews with other veterans and first responders can be heard, and shared! You can find the podcast on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, and anywhere podcasts can be downloaded. Please subscribe and share episodes with fellow vets. This helps build new connections and future members for The Veterans Club.
