It is a simple\, evidence-based tool that uses plain-language questions anyone can learn to ask—no mental health background required. \nWhat You Will Learn \n\nHow to identify whether someone is having thoughts of suicide (ideation)\nHow to assess the severity and immediacy of risk\nWhat actions someone may have taken to prepare for or attempt suicide\nHow to determine the level of support or referral needed\n\nThe training equips participants with practical skills for caring conversations that can help save lives. \nWhy This Matters to The Veterans Club Our mission is to end veteran and first responder suicide through genuine connection\, purpose\, and community.
