FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Athol, ID — The Veterans Club recently hosted a highly successful Range Day at Farragut Shooting Range, bringing together 15 veterans and first responders for a day of camaraderie and friendly competition. Participants enjoyed time on the pistol range, swapping stories, and testing their marksmanship to see who could claim the title of the best shot.

“We all had a blast!”, said organizer John Spencer who serves as a range safety officer at Farragut Shooting Range and a member of The Veterans Club.  “These type of events build relationships among veterans.”

“Even thou I am not a vet, I am honored to be part of the program,” said LYFE Public House owner David Miller.  David hosts The Veterans Club’s Patriot Pour Event each Wednesday and feel serving veterans and first responders to be a higher calling.

On the firing line.

The Veterans Club, a newly established group, meets every Wednesday at LYFE Public House to share coffee and stories from the good ‘ole days while working on initiatives to support the local community. This weekly gathering fosters a sense of community and mutual support among its members.

Currently, The Veterans Club is developing an exciting children’s literacy program targeting 3rd graders. Veterans and first responders will read to children, promoting American ideals, patriotism, family values, and the importance of service to the country. Parents interested in involving their children in this enriching experience are encouraged to visit www.theveteransclub.org and click on the Children’s Literacy section for more information.

The Veterans Club was founded by Ed Bejarana, a local Army veteran who served as a military musician from 1986 to 1989 in Frankfurt, Germany. His vision for the club is to create a supportive community for veterans and first responders while also giving back to the local area. The coffee meetings are generously sponsored by David Miller of LYFE Public House and Seth Horst from Your North Idaho Agent, Real Estate Agency.

With over 70 members comprising veterans and first responders, The Veterans Club is committed to making a positive impact on the community. Their efforts are a testament to the enduring spirit of service and patriotism that these individuals embody.
