26 men and women gathered today for our weekly coffee meeting at LYFE Public House.

The Veterans Club received notice of the upcoming birthday of Mike Kralicek. Click here to download the flyer. Police Officer, Mike Kralicek was shot in the head at close range while on duty in 2004. He miraculously survived, but sustained catastrophic injuries, which resulted in permanent disability. The community is asking that everyone who can send Mike a birthday card and let him we are thinking about him and his family. Click on the above link for the full information.

Meeting Notes:
Ron Deady, USAF Retired Lt. Col., was our presenter at today’s meeting. Ron was a B52 pilot and talked about his time in service. Ron, along with friend Bob, presented video and powerpoint slides, talked about cruise missile operations from the platform, and answered questions about the B52 mission in general.

The Patriot Pour is a weekly coffee meeting of The Veterans Club, including veterans and first responders who live in and around the Coeur d’Alene Metro. Meetings are held weekly (Wednesday morning at 0800) at LYFE Public House at 116 E Lakeside Ave, Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814. All veterans and first responders (retired or on active duty) are welcome to attend. Come meet other vets and first responders, build new relationships, and get involved in the community.
Patriot Pour is hosted by Dave Miller with LYFE Public Coffee House. Coffee and meeting space is provided by Dave free of charge. Visit LYFE Coffee and see the Wall of Service Patches of the men and women who’ve served our nation and community. Thank you Dave!

Ed Bejarana is the founder of The Veterans Club and a proud U.S. Army veteran. He served in the 3rd Armored Division Band in Frankfurt, Germany, from 1987 to 1989. Now residing in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, with his wife of over 33 years, Ed runs a small digital marketing and website development business and is also an accomplished audiobook narrator. He is dedicated to supporting veterans and fostering community connections through his work and passion projects.
