In 1998, beloved teacher Susan Harris vanished during a ten-minute drive home in Evergreen, Colorado. Her car was later found abandoned at a grocery store parking lot, keys in the ignition, and coffee untouched. Despite extensive investigations, cryptic clues like an anonymous letter claiming “Susan is safe but gone” have left her case unresolved for over 25 years. What happened on that October night?

About The Narrator:

Ed Bejarana, founder of The Veterans Club and a US Army veteran, is a spirited champion for community and connection. Back in the ’80s, he served as a military musician with the 3rd Armored Division Band in Frankfurt, Germany, and later used the GI Bill to pursue a college education. With training as a computer technologist, Ed combined his love for music and tech to build a thriving 35-year career in digital marketing and small business support. Self-employed since 2007, Ed now brings his voice talent to audiobooks, commercials, training videos, and public service announcements.

Living in beautiful North Idaho with his wife of over 33 years and their Golden Retriever, Roxie, Ed enjoys a busy, joy-filled life. With nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, Ed and Kay are well-loved by their family.

Ed created Narrated By The Veterans Club after realizing how few audiobooks are human-narrated for visually impaired listeners. Driven by a mission to combat veteran and first responder suicide, he created this nonprofit to unite veterans around meaningful causes. Through community-minded projects, such as audiobooks for the visually impaired, Ed’s passion for service continues to make a lasting impact.
