Become a Chapter Facilitator

Written/Narrated by:  Ed Bejarana | Published on: April 1, 2026

Continue Your Service — One Room at a Time

You already know the power of showing up.

You know how a steady presence and a shared table can change the trajectory of someone’s life.

At The Veterans Club, we’re looking for veterans and first responders who are ready to lead that kind of connection.

As a Chapter Facilitator, you don’t need to be a therapist, a motivational speaker, or a professional counselor.

You simply need to be the steady hand that protects the tone of the room — the one who keeps our weekly coffee meetings welcoming, respectful, hopeful, and focused on forward motion.

What the Role Actually Looks Like

  • Host our simple weekly coffee gathering (same place, same day, same time)
  • Welcome new faces, guide brief introductions, and keep conversation balanced and positive
  • Gently steer us back to camaraderie, resilience, and purpose when the talk gets heavy
  • Protect the culture we’ve built: no politics, no debates, no fixing each other — just real connection

We provide everything you need:

  • The official Facilitator’s Guide (clear expectations and “how we do it here”)
  • Hands-on training and shadowing with an experienced facilitator
  • Ongoing support from national leadership and other chapter facilitators
  • The satisfaction of knowing you’re directly helping reduce isolation — the #1 factor in veteran and first responder suicide

This is leadership that feels familiar.

It’s service that doesn’t end when the uniform comes off.

It’s showing up for the next generation of veterans and first responders the same way others once showed up for you.

We need more facilitators.

New chapters are forming. Existing chapters are growing. Every steady leader makes the difference between a good meeting and a life-changing one.

Ready to step up?

You don’t need a big resume or public-speaking experience. You just need to care about the mission and be willing to learn The Veterans Club way.

The room is waiting. The mission continues.
