The Veterans Club Dispatch-January 11, 2026

Where veterans and first responders connect.
This Week at The Veterans Club
It was a strong week of connection, conversation, and community across several of our programs.
Patriot Business Alliance
The Patriot Business Alliance met with nine veterans and first responders gathering for beer and business. We shared what we do, the challenges we’re facing, and lessons learned along the way. These monthly meetups for veteran- and first responder–owned businesses are held on the first Wednesday of each month.
📍 February’s meeting will be at The Bunker Bar in Post Falls.
Hayden Patriot Pour – A Strong Start
We’re excited to report that 27 veterans and first responders gathered for the first meeting of the Hayden Patriot Pour. Hosted at Avondale Golf Course, the turnout and energy showed great promise for a very healthy chapter.
☕ The Hayden Chapter meets every Wednesday at 0900 and is already shaping up to be a cornerstone of midweek connection in the area.
Operation Sushi Roll
Eight folks came together at Supa! for Operation Sushi Roll. This unique sushi restaurant sells sushi by the pound—and rumor has it Ed really pounded down the sushi. Great food, great laughs, and even better company.
Ladies Night – Paint & Stories
In downtown Coeur d’Alene, eight ladies gathered at Eagles Lodge for an evening of painting and stories. Under the direction of our own Cary from the CDA Chapter, everyone created a true art masterpiece and strengthened new friendships along the way.
Coming Up Next Week
We’re hosting Operation Taco Bravo and Cigar Night, offering more opportunities to relax, connect, and spend meaningful time with fellow veterans and first responders.
👉 Be sure to check the Events page on The Veterans Club website for details, locations, and times—and make plans to join us. Connection happens when we show up.

Cigar and Whiskey Night January 2026 – January 16 @ 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm
Stogies & Stories 3920 W 5th Ave Suite A1, Post Falls, ID, United States
Step into an evening of warmth, smoke, and brotherhood. The Patriot Cigar Lounge brings together those who’ve served—military, fire, law enforcement, and EMS—for a night of relaxation and connection. Bring your favorite stick, sip something aged, and enjoy the easy company of those who get it.
Snow Removal Assistance Program
As winter weather continues, The Veterans Club is offering Snow Removal Assistance for veterans and seniors who may need help keeping walkways and driveways safe. To be added to the assistance list, email info@theveteransclub.org. This service is limited to the funds we have on hand and is carried out by two veteran-owned and operated businesses we contract with to provide reliable snow removal throughout the season. If you’d like to support this effort financially, contact Ed at info@theveteransclub.org. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all contributions are tax deductible, and you may allocate 100% of your donation directly to the Snow Removal Fund.
