The Veterans Club 1st Annual BBQ Was a WILD Success

This past weekend, 55 veterans, first responders, and family members gathered at Dan Blanchard’s home for a day filled with laughter, delicious food, and great conversation. A huge thank you to Dan and his family for opening their home and making everyone feel welcome.

There are too many people to thank in one email, but a few standout helpers definitely deserve a shout-out—and maybe a cold beer!

• Dan Blanchard spent months preparing his property to host dozens of vehicles and guests.
• Jim Marrymee earns the (unofficial) Energizer Bunny Award—he made countless trips to Dan’s to help with prep work.
• Karen Reade was the mastermind behind our food coordination and also made multiple trips to assist with setup.
• Dillion and Mike manned the grill with excellence.
• Rory continued to impress as the steady worker we all count on.

We were also treated to a special live performance by our very own Carol Davis, Ian Cosby, and Tim Greeley, who put together a band just days before the event!

Both the Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene chapters were well represented, and we were excited to welcome several new faces to the mix. Thank you to everyone who helped make our first annual BBQ a memorable and meaningful day.
