Athol, ID — The Veterans Club recently hosted a highly successful Range Day at Farragut Shooting Range, bringing together 15 veterans and first responders for a day of camaraderie and friendly competition. Participants enjoyed time on the pistol range, swapping stories, and testing their marksmanship to see who could claim the title of the best shot.

In 1969, while serving in Fort Ord, California, Dale Giibboney first considered a political run. Decades later, now a retired professional and former LA policeman, he’s taking that leap as a candidate for Kootenai County Commissioner. Driven by a blend of personal conviction and community support, Dale embodies the spirit of active civic engagement, urging fellow veterans to bring their leadership to local politics.
