The Veterans Club Dispatch-January 18, 2026

Where veterans and first responders connect.

This Week at The Veterans Club

Another strong week of connection, conversation, and shared time together is ahead. Here’s what’s coming up:

🎟️ Uzi Raffle Drawing – Tuesday, January 20

We will draw the winning ticket for the Uzi raffle during the Post Falls Chapter meeting on Tuesday, January 20.
The drawing will also be streamed live on Facebook, so even if you can’t attend in person, you can still tune in and be part of it.

🍽️ January Diner Gathering – Friday, January 30

Our January Diner Gathering will be held at The Mango Tree on Friday, January 30 at 5:00 PM.
To help us reserve enough space, please RSVP by email to info@theveteransclub.org.

🍗 Operation Wingman – Tuesday, February 4

Join us for our first Operation Wingman at Buffalo Wild Wings at 5:00 PM.
Enjoy chicken wings, sports on the screens, and great conversation with fellow veterans and first responders.

This event is new-guest friendly. You’re encouraged to bring someone who has never experienced The Veterans Club and give them an opportunity to discover new camaraderie in a friendly, vibrant setting.

🎶 Live Music at Garden Plaza – Friday, February 6

Ed’s band, The A Train, will be performing at Garden Plaza at 2:00 PM.
The public is welcome, and dancing is encouraged.

❄️ Snowshoe Trip – Saturday, February 7

Tim has announced a snowshoe trip on February 7.
More details are available on The Veterans Club Facebook page.

🌮 Operation Taco Bravo – Community Highlight

Another Operation Taco Bravo wrapped up without a hitch. Six veterans gathered to crunch tacos, swap stories, and spend time getting to know Dan, a Marine who served in the infantry in Vietnam from 1967–1968. These are the moments that remind us why this work matters.

Why So Many Food Events?

Because great relationships often start over a meal.
By holding events at different restaurants, on different days and times, we’re able to reach more veterans and first responders—and make it easier for people to find a gathering that fits their schedule.

As always, thank you for showing up, bringing others along, and helping build something meaningful—one conversation at a time.
