FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
A Modernized Format Designed to Support Veteran & First Responder Entrepreneurs
Coeur d’Alene, Idaho — December 2025 — The Veterans Club today announced an exciting evolution of its Patriot Business Alliance (PBA), a program dedicated to supporting business-minded veterans and first responders. Beginning January 2026, the Alliance will transition from a weekly lunch format to a more dynamic structure featuring a monthly evening Business Mixer and a monthly evening Business Workshop.
The new structure is designed to better serve the growing number of veterans and first responders launching businesses, expanding side hustles, or building careers in the private sector.
“As our community grows, we continue to adapt our programs to offer greater value and accessibility,” said Ed Bejarana, President of The Veterans Club. “The Patriot Business Alliance is becoming a true business-growth community—one that provides practical tools, mentorship, connection, and opportunity for those who served our nation and our local communities.”
A Fresh, Modern Approach to Business Networking
Monthly PBA Business Mixer
Held from 5:30–7:00 PM, the Business Mixer brings together veteran- and first responder–owned businesses in a relaxed, approachable environment. Mixers will rotate among pubs, breweries, and social venues across Kootenai County, encouraging collaboration, referrals, and relationship-building.
Each mixer will also highlight a Veteran-Owned Business of the Month, offering visibility and recognition to entrepreneurs within the community.
January 2026 Kickoff Mixer – Open to All Veteran & First Responder Business Owners
The first Patriot Business Alliance evening mixer will be held:
Wednesday, January 7, 2026
5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
Daft Badger Brewing
1710 N 2nd St
Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814
All veteran and first responder business owners are welcome to attend and connect with fellow entrepreneurs. The event will introduce the updated PBA format and set the tone for a year of business growth, collaboration, and community.
Monthly PBA Business Workshop
Complementing the Mixer, the monthly Business Workshop provides hands-on learning and practical skills for entrepreneurs at every stage. Topics will cover marketing, operations, customer development, process improvement, and more—giving attendees actionable tools they can use immediately.
Enhancing Value for a New Generation of Leaders
The shift to an evening-based monthly format is a strategic move to align with the schedules and needs of younger veterans and first responders entering or growing within the business community. The updated structure will:
- Create a more modern and engaging member experience
- Offer higher-impact business training
- Improve accessibility for working professionals
- Strengthen outreach and recruitment efforts
- Build a vibrant, sustainable business-growth community
“The Patriot Business Alliance is evolving with purpose,” Bejarana added. “These changes position us to support more veterans and first responders as they pursue entrepreneurship and leadership roles in our local economy.”
